Anchor clamps are used for the fastening and tensioning of self-supporting circular fiber optic cables during overhead/aerial cable laying. Permissible cable diameters range from 6 to 20 mm.
These anchor clamps allow for simple and quick cable installation by clamping directly onto the cable outer sheath without the use of additional protectors.
The anchor clamp consists of a plastic body with an elongated fixed clamping wedge and a flexible stainless steel lifting ring. High-strength UV-stabilized plastic provides a reliable fit in any environment. The slim wedge is designed for better cable jacket contact area and has multiple fixed ledges on it.
The lifting ring can be pulled out of the clamp body for easy attachment to the mounting ring.
To protect the lifting rings from tearing and abrasion as well as to ensure uniform mechanical loading, the anchor points are equipped with plastic ring thimbles.
